This consortium is a partnership of the University of Missouri - Columbia, University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign, and the Donald Danforth Plant Sciences Center in St. Louis. We aim to provide multi-disciplinary training opportunities for graduate students, undergraduates and post-doctorates with a focus on root genetics and physiology and applications of genomic approaches to studying root responses to stress environments.
