- Drs. Schachtman and Chen organized Proteomics Symposium and Workshop held at Donald Danforth Plant Science Center, April 20-22. For full details see: http://www.danforthcenter.org/symposium/proteomics/. Twenty-six students and postdocs were registered and attended the workshop. Five members of the Danforth Center facilitated the workshop along with 3 invited speakers. There were 109 people registered for the symposium, 12 speakers and 26 vendors. Evaluations were performed on the workshop and those were sent to Jane Silverthorne directly. Invited speakers included: Kathryn Lilley (Cambridge University), Jay Thelen (University of Missouri), Jim Lawrence (Pioneer), Clay Carter (University of Minnesota), Mike Sussman (University of Wisconsin), Alice Harmon (University of Florida), Katheryn Resing (University of Colorado), Lloyd Sumner (Noble Foundation), and Klaas J. van Wijk (Cornell University).
