June 2006 Workshop Series

PLANT GENOMICS IN THE CLASSROOM

For the MUPGRET summer workshop series, we have created six, two day workshops.

The workshops are free but pre-registration is required so that we will have lab and classroom materials ready for all participants.

Workshop participants may earn Graduate credit from the University of Missouri. University of Missouri fees will apply.

If interested in earning credit, please contact us for help with registration.

The goals of this program are to teach principles and techniques in plant genomics that can be used in the classroom and to create a network of university faculty and teachers that will bring the excitement of plant genomics and scientific discovery to their students.

The workshop will consist of lectures, tours, and hands on demonstrations. Participants are eligible to receive materials for their classroom upon completion of the workshop.
